*Tulsa
Public Schools Board Office 1 FACTS
*The
election is February 11, and registered voters in TPS District 1
will be eligible to vote.
*The
only other election in the Office 1 area that will be on the ballot
on February 11 is a special election for Tulsa City Council District
2. (This will only affect the area of Office 1 southwest of the
Arkansas River.)
*The
deadline to be registered for this election is January 17.
*District
1 covers southwest and west Tulsa, and a portion of midtown between
21st Street and Pine west of Utica Avenue.
*District
1 covers most of the Central H.S. / Madison M.S. and Webster H.S. /
Clinton M.S. feeder patterns, including the boundaries of the
following elementary schools -
Addams
Chouteau
Emerson
Eugene Field
Lee
Park
Remington
Robertson
Roosevelt
Mark Twain
*There
are seven members of the TPS Board. The term of office is four
years. Most years, two board positions are on the ballot. Every
fourth year, only one position is on the ballot - Office 1.
